EC funds SMEs to develop cyber-physical systems for robotics and industry
Small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Europe can apply for up to 150,000 Euros to develop new products and components for cyber-physical systems under the latest call from the EuroCPS project.
By Richard Wilson - Electronics Weekly, May. 12, 2016 –
A cyber-physical system (CPS) effectively describes a control system combining embedded computing and analogue interfaces for control and sensing. Examples are factory automation, aerospace systems and robotics.
EuroCPS is a three-year, 9.2m Euros EC-funded project coordinated by CEA-Leti, which is intended to help smaller companies to develop products for new markets.
Applicants are invited to submit proposals for CPS hardware systems, components and software demonstrators running on a CPS platform defined by EuroCPS.
