Spreadtrum Licenses Tensilica HiFi Audio/Voice DSP

SAN JOSE, Calif., Feb. 22, 2016 – Cadence Design Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CDNS) today announced that Spreadtrum licensed the Cadence Tensilica HiFi Audio/Voice digital signal processor (DSP).

The Tensilica HiFi DSP is production proven for ultra-low power audio and voice functions in mobile devices. It has a well-supported ecosystem with over 175 proven audio/voice software packages and over 80 partners.
