Arm is Enabling Embedded Intelligence for a Smarter World at EW2015
Feb. 19, 2015 – When: 24th - 26th February 2015
Where: Hall 5, Stand 338, Embedded World, Nuremberg, Germany
What: Live demonstrations of new Arm®-based IoT solutions together with embedded applications from the Arm ecosystem.
Enabling Embedded Intelligence for a Smarter World
At the upcoming Embedded World show, Arm will showcase examples of how the Arm Cortex®-M processor family and the Arm mbed™ IoT Device Platform are accelerating the development and deployment of embedded technologies and Internet of Things (IoT) applications. Arm mbed IoT Device Platform has been shortlisted for an Embedded World award (software category).
Demonstrations include:
- Instrumented booth sensors to servers: Arm mbed-enabled platform sensors connect via mbed Device Server hosted on a 64-bit Armv8-A based server
- Arm mbed OS development for Bluetooth® Smart
- Arm mbed OS integrated Thread stack
- Powertrain control with Scaleo OLEA® automotive microcontroller
- Arm-based HD radio demodulation
- Real-time audio processing on Arm Cortex-M7
- Arm Keil® MDK version 5, CMSIS version 4, and Arm Development Studio 5 (DS-5)
Microcontroller Design Contest:
On Feb 18, Arm launched the Microcontroller Design Contest for Arm Cortex-M processor-based devices, offering $10,000 in prizes. Technology entrepreneurs can register to compete to create a smart domestic or industrial device based on an Arm Cortex-M4 processor. The competition will run from March to June 2015 and will showcase how quickly products can be designed with Arm CMSIS software components and middleware.
Who:
